Clinton Lake Fishing Report
Here's the report from the past weekend for Clinton Lake, I will try to continue with the reports on a weekly basis.
The Crappie are starting to go into feed mode. I have been catching some real nice fish in shallower water here recently. Around 10 ft with structure is a good starting point. Minnows fished under a cork or a chartreuse jig have been my best fish catchers. To be specific I have been using MAD Crappie Jigs 1/8 oz pink jig head with an all chartreuse slab buster when jigging. Bank fisherman have been having luck around the Mascoutin boat ramp in mornings and evenings. Jigs or minnows fished under a cork at about 6 to 8 ft. The bite seems to slow down about 10 am.
Thanks and Tight Lines
