Great day on the water. I was suprised to see the marine patrol out in January. The hybrids were out in force. Few crappie today but they are trying to prespawn. Saw a few bass guys landing fish as they came by me.

I am going not this weekend but next at West Point....
I caught zero crappie but the hybrid and stripes are always there to catch. They seem to be the only fish that is simple to follow. I only caught 2 and my son 1 but we only tried em 30 minutes after no crappie so we would get a fight. The largemouth guys were pulling in a few as I passed and plenty of smiles and lies back at they landing.
Hmmm..that is interesting......
That is the part I love best.....coming up with the best fish story....
That is why you should always wait to go last!!!
