2015 Clinton Lake Sep 19-20 Tournament Results

Hello All,

What a great way to end the season. One team filled the bag on day one and the rest of us were tied for second place with one fish each. To be expected after a stormy night that dropped 3” of rain. At the end of day one, it was still anyone’s to win. Day two proved to be a better day of fishing and almost all teams brought a limit to the ramp.

After the tournament it was great to have fish fry and socialize with the competitors. Perfect end to a great season, good food, good company, and challenging Crappie fishing conditions. Nothing like 3” of rain and a cold front to challenge the best Crappie anglers. I was impressed at the results.

1st place team- Stu Zehr and Dave Newgent- 6 pounds, 13.4 ounces.
2nd place team- Rich Goodbrake and Louis Jordan- 3 pounds, 6.7 ounces.
3rd place team- Dan Whitecotton and Brent Whitecotton- 3 pounds, 0.07 ounces.

I wish to thank all participants and sponsors for a great year. We look forward to seeing you again next year. If you haven’t been to a tournament, come on out. It’s like one big family. I learn more at the end of the tournament then I do all day on the lake.

We meet at 6:30-7:30 pm on the first Thursday of the month, Presley’s Outdoors in Bartonville, IL.
