HOI Crappie Club April 11th Evergreen Lake Tournament results.

Hello All,

What a great day and turn out. We shared the lake with a Bass tournament. I talked to several of the competitors during the day, all of them where fishing shore wood. The HOI Crappie Club tournament crew headed about 100 yards from the ramp and spent the day fishing. I would say they found fish, and nice ones too. 10 of the 13 teams weighted fish. Took a 5lb basket to win this tournament. Nice sized fish from Evergreen. I think the fishery has gotten better since they removed the size restriction. We have been catching bigger fish as the year’s progress.

1st place team- Ron Faust and Mike Roark 5lb 5.3oz.
2nd place team- Dan Whitecotton and Brent Whitecotton 4lb 15oz.
3rd place team- Joe Schrader and Jeff Schrader 3lb 11.9oz.

Big Fish- Naumen Cart and Miller 15.2 oz.

Next tournament is May 2nd at Banner Marsh Lake Shovel, furthest lake from Peoria.
