Question for 2014 ISM Classic qualified Members
Hey all you ISM 2014 Classic Qualified Members, there's been a little trouble trying to find a well trusted host hotel since the "Summerhouse Inn" has closed down. We have heard that we have to be very careful with the hotel rooms we choose in Bloomington because in the recent past there has been problems with rooms. I will leave it at that because I am sure this is not the case at all hotel rooms. With that being said, finding a place that can house the entire club, not have the problems that have been going on in Bloomington, give us a decent rate, and provide us with a guaranteed place that possibly well over 30 teams can charge their boats seems very difficult to say the least.
Here is an idea that I will throw out there. How many ISM classic qualified members would be willing to camp at the Paynetown Campground? It currently looks as though there are 18 Spots available with electricity and water if you need this. and another 50 plus sites that are non-electric. I'm not sure the no-electric sites would work unless you have a generator to recharge your batteries. I'm just going to watch on here and see what the response is and I will send out the information. Comradery seems to be an important part of the ISM and just trying to find a place where many of the members may be able to go to be able to accomplish us as a club to spend time together and congregate when not fishing.
Looks like it is $19.00 a night for electric sites and $15.00 a night for non-electric sites.
Just a thought! Let me know yours!
Thanks,
