My neighbor and his wife hit the river at columbia sat morning and caught some of the biggest gills i have ever seen out of the hooch.He said most all were caught on worms. He and his son went back sun. afternoon same spot and caught another good mess.
The only time I have ever fished the Chattahoochee, we were floating the section of the hooch right under lake lanier. Caught a few trout, it was a fun trip.
