One of them days..
Had one of them days you just don't forget Saturday morning. My buddy and I one pole jigged our brush piles and cane piles in one of our gravel pits from 6-9am...
Once we couldn't close the ice chest easily any more we thru back at LEAST 25 to 30 keepers and STILL wound up with 75 for our fish fry coming up.
All on 1/16oz purple hand poured jigs with red sickle hooks and a clear bobby garland shad with sparkles in it. Looked just like a shiner. Catching 100 keeper crappie one at a time as fast as you can is a rare thing, for me anyway. Wont soon forget it.

after 2 hours of cleaning fish I was glad we threw back those last 25 or so.
As I wore out a brand new filet knife on these fish (as they seem to be only good for about 100 fish...lol) I wondered if those eating these fish appreciated my labor and the PAINS it took to seek these specimens out and actually catch em!! Its tough...but somebody's gotta do it!! LOL!

Nice catch!!!!! Hopefully everyone who are well did indeed appreciate your efforts. Smiling faces eating good fish is a good sign of appreciation for me
