Crappie report

Well I went out with my dad last weekend for the trout opener when I visited Bremerton. Ended up catching our limit of trout and I caught 3 crappie, two around 11". They were all in deeper water still. Then when I drove back to Kennewick yesterday I stopped at a pond and proceeded to do well on crappie. Caught about 40, it was consistent action as they're in spawn mode right now. One of the other ponds I fish I haven't done too well on size, all the crappie seem to be one or two year fish, not sure if its just the start of a cycle or I'm just getting unlucky the past couple weeks.
