Can't get the garlic smell out of my truck. Where's SLAB-BUSTER?
i tossed one in some soup, figured i may as well make things work for me instead of against me. just remember to yank it out before munching down.
***don't actually do this anyone, you could die. and once the crappie hear what happened no one would ever hear the end of it.***
That is some high powered garlic i'll tell ole Jack ya'll are givin him hell.
Man, my wife thought that I had just eaten at an Italian resturant when I got home, guess it is a good thing that old Jack is using garlic instead of some other "flavor".
I threw mine in a compartment in my boat. Have been airing it out for two days now and it still smells the same.
I can still smell them and it's been 2 weeks since I fished with them.
That's why I got him to bring some without garlic... :)
We gonna soak ours in cod liver oil.... What ya think?

Randy, what was the name of the two lakes you fish the most? One is where the camp is going to be held, but Paul says the other one is really the better lake. I want to look them up on the map.
Try it and let us know Randy,i am gonna drop some in some anise and see if the old school way still produces.
I'm promoting them to my friend through Crappie USA to help Jack out. If I get to Illinois this weekend, we'll see how the smell helps in the Muddy Ohio River.

It was the best in the nation for a long time. There was a time if we came home with less then 70, we thought it was a slow day.:o It has good and bad days now like all the rest, but still not bad. A good day will bring you a 50 limit, no problem. ;) The problem is the dry years we have had. We need the rivers to bring high water to flush it.
Our favorite lake as of now is Lake D'Arbonne in Farmerville LA.
This lake can produce a 50 limit by mid day, and good fish too. We had one spring get together so far there.
Your bigger fish will come from Saline/Larto, in the 3 to 3 1/2 pound range.
So far at D'Arbonne my biggest is 2 pounds 10 ounces.
