"The worst mistake we all make, and I'm guilty too, is fishing too fast. We pick up the cast too fast; we retrieve too fast; we move along the shoreline too fast. I know from experience that even a little action in a given area means that fish are indeed there and my best strategy on a slow day is to remain at that location. Unfortunately, few of us have the self-discipline to do this even though we know that running all over the lake or spending the day driving from pond to pond won't help anything other than to vent our frustrations."
