I'm having trouble with some of my laminate 3" & 4" twister grub's splitting at laminate :dono:help. I use a laminate plate Ricks mold and love them but I'm doing something wrong and can't figure it out.

I don't have any problems using the dividing plate from Jacob your problem may be that your mold you may have to warm it up another thing that most guys get in a hurry and want to shoot it too fast go slow with the injector I've always had problem with the twister tail molds because I was trying to go too fast and you definitely had to warm up the mold give that a shot and I think you'll be okay.
Biggest thing is be sure to shoot your second color hot to get a better bond... In the 350 degree range.
Yes shoot second color hotter and hold hard long pressure.

Thanks guys I will take your expert opinions and put them to use. No more banging my head on the table and pulling my hair out. I'll let you know how it goes. thank you Whiptail.
Also wait till they are fully cured before you start pulling on them to test the bond.
