Sea Salt
I was in dollar tree getting parched peanuts. I saw a pound of sea salt for a buck and it struck me "what a great idea". Curing bacon, ham,etc is done with salt. This is what I need to preserve my plastics. Ever notice your tubes falling apart ? Curing them in salt will keep them from spoiling. That also helps them stay on the jig. I added some kick n crappie fish oil plus a generous dose of salt. Should improve the bite.

I actually saw some tubes packaged in salt at our local baitshop when I was there this week. I have never seen that before then

Sounds like a plan worth trying.

I still bite off pieces of solid bodies to use as minner keepers (just like nibbles). This helps keep minners on the hook, especially when casting. I hook thru the minner eyes. The salty baits are lots more tasty when "making" nibbles.:ThumbsUp
