Well, OK. But only because you said please!
Are catalpa worms good bait for crappie? I know they are great on bream. They finally are showing up on the leaves here in NC.
catfish---- on trotline their tuff little buggers to get off
Crappielips, you need to go to www.catfish1.com Then, go to the bait section. Several of the guys are talking about catalpa worms. I have a catalpa tree in my yard but it never has worms.
I haven't seen many catalpa worms here in the area. Used to be alot when I was a kid. Global warming I guess. I'll call Al Gore and ask him. He'll know.
I planted 8 trees along the back of our palce in Palestine Tx last year. Having spread over-and -out by them for fire ants, I had my 1st crop of worms on the 8' trees this year. Things are looking good for my future needs of worms. May you get your limit in slabs!
Our trees had worms early this year in western Arkansas. They were gone in early July. We tore up the Channel Catfish using them over baited holes.:D
