CHICAGO -- South Carolina's Jadeveon Clowney has won the 2012 Ted Hendricks Award, becoming the first sophomore chosen as the nation's top defensive end.

And to go along with that: On Wednesday, coaches from the Southeastern Conference voted to declare Clowney, a sophomore from Rock Hill, as the Defensive Player of the Year

SC has had some talented players over the years, but this guy is the real deal.
