Truman Tough Osage Bluff Area

Struggled Friday and Saturday out of the boat. Had to take folks out for three hours stints so I couldn't run far. Averaged 15 - 25 crappie in each time period but only managed a couple keepers out of them. Frustrating when you see them thick on the graph and can't get them to bite. Caught lots of 8 - 10" blue cats. They are out on flats close to the transitions and will steal your minnows as fast as you can get them on the hooks.
Night time Crappie fishing Thursday from the dock was decent. we had 29 keepers with seven of us relaxing.
Used only minnows as I couldn't buy a bite on a jig.
Crappie were 12 -20 ft over 12 - 40 feet next to standing timber. Did try dippin' shallow, but didn't get a hit.
Spent most of my time in Hoagles and Osage Bluff creeks.
