Satilla and Burnt Fort Landing
We went down to the Burnt Fort landing early Monday AM and fished the incoming tide. We had good luck with Bream. We knocked off early and went back to camp for cleaning, cooking and eating dem Bream.
Tuesday we went down early and fished the outgoing tide. No bream today but we did catch a few Warmouth and one crappie. When the sun got up bailed out. It is just too hot on the river this week.
There is a 4 foot tide down there and this part of the Satilla is very Purty and reminds me of a small St Johns river. You can get a tide chart for Burnt Fort and know when to fish. The incoming seemed to be the best fishing.

The bridge in the picture with Fred is the Hwy 252 bridge and the landing is under the bridge. We were 10 miles from Folkston and 14 Miles from the St Mary's and Florida.
