Bass trip this weekend
My buddy and his dad are coming up to fish Oroville this weekend for 3 days, and I got on the boat for 2 of them.
The lake has just lit on fire in the last few weeks. 100+ fish days per boat are pretty much the norm at this point.
Weather should be good, fishing better.
Now I can only hope they get bored with catching so many bass that I can convince them to fish for crappie for a little while.....

The reports keep getting better. I figure if I do well on numbers on Saturday (which I should) then Sunday I am gonna throw a big ass swim bait for hours.

All packed. Just waiting for my friends to get off the lake and come get me. I eagerly await their day 1 report, but I know it is gonna be awesome. Just a little wind to deal with.

36 fish between the two of my buddies. Not quite on fire, but very respectable.

97 fish today split between the three of us.
40 me
37 buddy
20 buddies dad.
From dink to over 3 pounds. The vast majority were slot fish (12-15 inches) many females with eggs still to lay.
Kept 2 over the slot for tacos tomorrow.
I'll post some pics soon. Fun day. Lots of baits working (I caught a couple good sized ones on crappie jigs).
No crappie though.... :(
