Greetings
Looking forward to learning and contributing. I like fishing generally. Fresh water or salt water... doesn't matter to me. I live on a private 12 acre lake in Indiana where only about 10 people fish on any regular basis. Our lake has a healthy population of bluegill and bass, but every crappie I've ever caught on this lake was massive. Only problem is I only catch one or two per year incidentally while I'm fishing for other species. So I'd like to learn about how to best target them.

:welcomeFrom Texas, and when I target crappie, I'll start out fishin' with something
crappie like...........electric chicken jigs, maribou jigs in chart/white, and
6 lb. Mr. Crappie line. Sounds like you have an idea lake to fish, and probably
lots of crappie in that little lake. When you fish for crappie, go crappie specific
and your likely to catch mostly crappie. Hope to see some of them massive
crappie photos. Enjoy the forum.
