What is your favorite species of minnow for crappie?
i personally prefer river minnows or atleast thats what we call them here these seem to produce alot better than the shiners

Small golden shiners the more golden the better, although the best crappie that was ever caught in my presence at 15 1/2" was taken on a large fathead.
