fishermike nailed it. fish them sloooooow. THis is a bait that appears to be designed so that the slowest retrieval turns the blade. Tie one on and hang on!

I have to agree with both above posts, plus you might try counting down your lure to fish at diffrent depths.
I use them year round and slow is the way to go. You can cast them, or slow troll them. Even try tipping them with a minnow when the crappie bite is tough. Enjoy your purchase.
Can't hardly fish them too slow
What kind did you get ? Marabou, squirming tails, bubble belly, thunder or turbo tails ?
