I have found crappie love to chase baits vertical... esp when in deeper water. only thing is, i can only get this done when on ice. or in a boat is there any way i can take advantage of this weakness while fishing from the bank? thanks

Beleive me the crappie will strike up alot ! Trolling cranks and trolling Road Runners will trigger big slabs to chase !
