Hoover 3/30/06
Took my first fishing trip of the year. It was just to warm to pass up. Started out north of baldridge with a few small bites but no real takers. So i went to the middle section and ended up with a decent first trip caught 12 crappies with 4 keepers. Water is still cold and they were holding very close to sturcture. Fishing is a game of inches sometimes. :p I was in 30 FOW fishing 10ft.

good to hear you found some takers.
i'm bringing my boat home next week, and getting ready to start searching for staging fish soon.i don't do the bank thing much anymore,or i'd be taking advantage of this weather too:)
only a few weeks till they move up,and the fun begins:cool:
