Bass Got My crappie/Pic
A few days back i was out getting a mess of springtime crappie. I hooked a fish and it took of. I knew right away it was something different. With my 4ib. test and ul rod i had a armfull. I worked this thing to keep it out of the brush. In a few i got it in and by gosh it was a nice largemouth and a crappie all in one. I had hooked a crappie and this bass came and grabbed it. I landed them both and never had a hook in the bass. It took a bit to get the crappie out of that basses mouth. I let them both go. You never know what is next.Attachment 63961Attachment 63959Attachment 63960Attachment 63962

Ha, that is great. Pretty sure the crappie had one heck of a day. If you weren't gonna eat him, that bass sure as heck would have, haha.

Great pics, did they both live?

Thats pretty cool We were fishing a Crappie tournament in Minnestoa last year and my nephew caught a nice crappie which became lunch for a 48 inch Muskie they followed it with the trolling motor till it got tired and netted it. Took pictures and klet it go. That was pretty cool.

That Crappie will probably die anyway from the looks of the picture. If his head was in the Bass's stomach the acids were already at work and will dissolve the slime on the Crappie and he will get an infection and die anyway. EB
