Walmart usually has 2-4 different ones in stock
order one off the internet. Wallyworlds usually carry some - 3/8" sq netting and 4 or 6ft diameter monofilament cast nets. These are OK - if you're looking to catch 3" long Shad, or larger. IF you want to catch smaller Shad ... you're better off ordering one with 1/4" sq netting. You can order monofilament or nylon cast nets in 1/4" sq from Nylon Net Co. of Memphis, TN. (both of mine came from there)
Your best bet is to order a free catalog - find the net you want - then call in your order (24/7 toll free 800 number). To get an idea of what they have and pricing - go to their website www.nylonnet.com ... but, the website does not show all available cast nets, you'll need the catalog for that. The website will also show you the "premium" versions of their cast nets ... so the price will be premium, as well. The catalog has several different versions to choose from.

There are other reputable cast nets out there ... this company is just the one I've purchased from. And you won't need to purchase any "throwing device" or "video", to help you use the cast net. There are videos & instructions on the web - or I can walk you thru it. ......... cp :cool:
