it doesnt get any better
the smallest spinning reel you can find,4lb test line,a cork the size of a pencil an inch long, split shot the size of a bb,and a hook your little fingernail will hide.next a secret spot no bigger than your boat 30-40 feet away and a cage full of crickets.then to see the cork disappear as quick as it hits the water.limit out in an hour gohome and clean.can any one say fish fry.it doesnt get any better on the water.God bless all of ya and i hope He lets me do it for many years to come.

That sounds great to me, Michael ! I hope I always enjoy
a good day of bluegill fishing !! Any way that works is fun.
One of my fishing buddies and I go to Dale Hollow..and fish
with crickets or big mealies...but no bobber..and from 15 to
25 ft deep or so for the big ones. Great eating !!

Michael,
You hit the nail on the head. That type of fishing is both relaxing and exhilarating at the same time. I have a slight adavantage in that the season down here is a little longer and there is no limit on sunfish. Usually Patassa and I are the only boat fishing for gills and shellcrackers, we make the bass guys go around us.:D
