I would like to know what others think about Kodiak Scent Paste for crappie fishing. I like the idea of the Tube Jig Injector but have not tried it yet.

It is great stuff Duane. I have bought it in both the injector, and also in the squeeeze tube. You get more in the squeeze tube for your money. I used to inject this into the tubes, now I just smear it on the outside of whatever I am throwing. I think it disipates much better that way. Excellant attractor. You will notice a difference if you use it!

i've only used the minnow scent
I never have used the nightcrawler. I think it would be prone to draw more rough fish, Walleye, and Bass than Crappie. I can't tell the difference between minnow & shad. I would lean towards the flavor that matches your local baitfish populations.

I've found the paste to work best, for me, when the water is colder than 55 degrees. I even use it on live bait when the bite slows down. Good stuff. Try the bait cubes, you'll love em.

I just ordered some more cubes. I use 2 or 3 at a time to bring in the fish. You'll definatly notice the diffrence in the fishing.
Where do you order ours from? No sporting goods place or bait shop in this area carries any thing from this company, I have looked for the paste several times.Quote:
