What kind of line does everyone use? Anybody ever try P line
I use 2lb diameter fireline. You can feel more since it has very low stretch.
Remington Express......6 lb. test.....Green
If trilene makes it I use it. For my money you can get any type you need. It doesn't seem to twist as bad as others. I like the green color the best for all my needs.:)
I've been using Yo-zuri. Expensive though. I try different types. I like the low memory of iron silk, but it doesn't last long it gets brittle. If I could find someone who knows how to get 4lb braided I'll switch.
I have used P line for the last 3 yrs. I really like it. The only problem I have is when I'm bobber fishing with the clear. It soaks up water and starts sinking, causing slack.
I use P-line on my bass rig that's used only for moving baits (spinner bait/crankbaits, etc) so far I like it. On my crappie rods I just switched to Spiderwire Stealth in 8/2 (8lb test with 2 lb diameter) and 6/1 in yellow. It lays down very well on the water, doesn't twist, and does'nt flop off the reel and coil up like mono. I switched mainly because the mono line was getting hung up passing thru my slip corks. Not a problem with the stealth.
Here you go. BPS carries it too. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...h-results1.jspQuote:

I use 8# Hi-vis Gold Stren on one pole and 8# Ironsilk in the hi-vis chart. on the other. Have some hi-vis 8# Wally Marshall I use sometimes, but can't see it quite as good as the other two. Still good line though.
If I can't see it, then I don't use it.
Tantech from Cabelas claims to be the strongest per diameter of any mono.
