I am going to be in the Welaka area on the St. John's in mid February and will have 3 or 4 days to fish. Not a lot of experience down there and need some advice. My only time on Crescent was years ago and I fished out of Dead Lake on the Southeast part of the lake. Also (some years back) bream fished out of Astor a couple of times. Could trailer down there for a day, too.
Any advice on where and how to find some specks would be appreciated. Thanks.
