Proof that kids are smarter...

Well, we had a whole bunch of grown-ups who braved the triple digit heat for yesterday's WTCC Youth Tournament... but only 2 kids were NUTS enough to show up and want to fish!!!:D:eek::D:eek: No fish were caught (only saw one crappie on the depth finder, and he was burrowed in the mud, 3 feet below the bottom of a 50' deep river channel). We did have fun, though!!! Good food, great folks, and good fellowship. Props to Jacob and Kaleigh, our 2 youth anglers, for sticking it out!!!

Also want to say thanks to those who worked so hard to prepare for this tournament... Paul and Vonna for handling the groceries and the cooking, as well as enlisting sponsors; Doug for enlisting sponsors; Lynn for his sponsorship help, and for providing all the drinks; Mike for the sponsorship and the awesome trophies; and Jamey for sharing his knowledge of the area around Eva!!!
