Marshall State School lake 8-1-10
Let's just say I'm never teaching anyone how to fish ever again. I mean last Fall Erin and my nephew didn't even know how to tie a knot let alone fish for crying out loud!
They must have caught 15 nice blue gills today and I caught nutin'.
No crappie were caught today, I tried. We also threw out some catfish bait and nutin', Erin and I tried some bass fishing and nutin'. So when Tyler was catching blue gills, Erin wimped out on the "real" fishing and started in with the worms and a bobber, I guess, what ever works, he was catching fish too. Not me I kept after the crappie and bass.
Soon it was getting time to go and Uncle Quinn was NOT going to get skunked, so I broke down and started with the worm and bobber thing and nothing but nibble, nibble worm gone, nibble nibble worm gone until we finally had to go
Erin said "I'll have Tyler fillet these fish, unless you want to do it" I was like "What!?! you know the rules man!!"
Anyway, we had allot of fun, it was nice out, finally not so stinking hot out for a change.
I'll get em' next time thats all I've got to say about that.
Later,
