Needs some help. Does anyone know the name of or have a link for the folks that make or sell the jig hook that use 2 curved pieces of wire for the collar? Thanks

Looks like a good jig Darryl, all except I'd rather have the plain head. Looks like the tubes wouldnt come off it very easily.
Jerry gave me some and I have been using them for tying hair jigs. They really work well for that purpose and I want to compare prices of what I'm buying now, but we can't remember where they come from. Old-timers, lol.Quote:

but that is a "bodylok crappie jig" www.lunkerlure.com
or 800-842-0582 pg 39 of the last Crappie mag
1/32,1/16,1/8, painted or un-painted
I just went to the website, click on on-line store, then search with their search thingy for
"bodylok" - kinda confusing (to me) but it reads like they offer one with a weedguard also???
Thanks JW, but I'm not exactly sure that is it. They want 3.99 for a 4-pack and offered no bulk purchases. I'm getting 25 from Cabela's for 3.99. Perhaps there is another out there using the same lock-style hook when pouring their lead. Anyway, they are working really well for tying jigs and got my hopes up for them being comparable to what I'm using now.
I do really appreciate the info. We're getting closer.
Here is the ad, I didn't have time to scan it last night. Hopefully
somebody else makes it, cause I agree, that's sort of pricey.
In the same mag, there was an ad for something similar to a Charlie
Brewer slider head, except the head is aspirin-shaped, with big ole
googley eyes on it - looked killer, but they were $2.49 a two pack:eek:
Aw, it's only money I guess :)
I saw the post and went looking for them online and could not find them at cabelas, 25 for 3.99 is real cheap what is the item number or got a link?
go_rob_go at yahoo.com
Here a link to the painted jigheads I'm using from cabelas:Quote:

And here a link to the unpainted ones I use:

For the unpainted ones I use the "livebait" ones because they have no collar for tying jigs.
Darryl do you know of any good web sites that would help someone start tying there own jigs? Also any thing that helps out holding the jigs and wraping the string on them?
Thanks
