MTL - report ??

I am going to MTL for the week starting Monday April 19th.
Can anybody help me out with what the crappie are doing ???

Sounds like the lower end is starting to warm up. I'd start in Lick Creek. After you enter the creek, then go around two bends and there will be a cove on the left hand side that goes back quite a bit..... if they are starting to spawn, they should be in there thick.

Other than that, run up into Shell Branch...... I'd get there early.

the south and middle fork beat me up last weekend,caught 6 nice ones, temps 67 in the afternoon. the fish we did find were 3-6ft deep on the bottom. nibbles seemed to help. heard they did better on the north side and lick creek
