long linned trolled along the railroad and the flat out from the beech . not much happeniong . went to pecan slough trolled and cought 17 keepers . through back several small ones .most wer in 4 to 6 ft. of water . water temps was 66 to 67. most wer cought after 10:00 am till 1:00 pm

What color jigs were they hitting mostly? Thinking about givng it a try there tomorrow.
most wer cought on minnows . did catch a few with grubs ,dark color like black grey with sparkle in it and dk blue with chartruce tail .
work i am as tired as if i worked hard all day. but enjoyed it better
fish we caught . by the way the knife is junk :mad: bought it at west point.flayed 75 fish and it quit.

that one is a Mr Junk. cabelas brand . the switch would not make contact fixed it and the gears started to chatter and pieces flying out :mad::eek:
