Crappie Biting on the Alabama River

For all those interested in fishing the Alabama River and specifically the Crappie Masters Alabama State Championship on 19-20 March, big fish are already being caught. This past Saturday, one fisherman came in with one Crappie just under 4 pounds and 18 others over 2lbs. All were turned loose for another fishing day.
