Ok, went to Mitchell today and had no luck. i've never tried for crappie this time of year. Talked to another fisherman at the boat ramp and he had a few slabs, said they were few and far between. In tops about seven feet deep. Guess ill try again the end of next week...any tips for this time of year?

I have fished there several times over the years, mainly for bass, but I am just starting to fish more for crappie. It is a good lake for both.
