The Fall Feeding Frenzy Is Getting Back On Track!
Water temps have only fallen a few degrees (63 this morning) but a couple times today the crappie started acting like the Fall Feeding Frenzy is back on. We had some real slow periods but when they decided to bite they had us hopping! The biggest two were just over and just under 15-inches.
We had a few pop a jig but most were caught on Rosy Red minnows under slip floats from 9 to 17-feet deep.
We caught about 20 (not all keepers) on a bamboo bed we just dropped a couple weeks ago on a point outside a cove on an old creek channel. They were hitting us two at a time there for a while.
Eric, I really enjoyed fishing with y'all today and hope to do it again soon!
