Tips for central NC

There is a small pond located at my place of work that is supposed to have decent sized crappie (as I have been told from some of the experienced workers). This pond is rarely fished as it is located on private propert and hidden pretty well. Never been much of a crappie fisherman, but does anyone have any tips on landing a few (ie baits, times, etc...)?

...I don't know if I can tell ya good enuff??? :D ...But I know I could show ya... :p ...minnows/jigs.....anytime you can go is the "right" time.!!!.. :cool:
