I am thinking on adding a temperature indicator to the list of gadgets in my fishing box. I also want to get involved with checking the oxygen level of the waters I fish.
I sourced a model that does both. The "Temperature Plus Oxygen" meter by Brand X. (I don't know if we can mention manufacturer's names)
Anyone ever use one or something similar. This ones sells for around $50.00
I really think with the hot weather we have down here in South Louisiana I need to start checking both of these areas. Anyone else use one?
Any advice pro's and con's please.
Send a baitfish down to the level you are interested in for a few minutes. If it comes back dead you know it is deficient in Oxygen. It's a caveman test, but it works and it doesn't cost much, and you don't even have to remember to bring the O2 meter, much less afford it.Quote:
