discharging, puncturing and soaking the cells in salt water effectively make the cells inert based on what I've learned using the cells in RC Helicopters.
That's the disposal method I learned anyway..
The avg weight of the car cells is 1000 pounds. Prob a new ditch fill item.
Those poly batteries are explosive devices. Ask Sony.;) Charging is critical. You setting on a 1000 pound bomb. Not to say the gasoline isn't as explosive.
I smell wieners somewhere in this new car deal.
thats the problem, one needs to figger out how to repair them instead of disposal...
