Does Size And Color Matter To You?
Some fishermen prefer blonds. Some fishermen like them large. I'm sitting here finishing my seemingly endless chore of organizing tackle boxes when the thought occured does size and color matter if you are a true fisherman. I have heard it both ways. I know a tuffy minnow can be a medium to large size (2-3 inches) and have a blueish hue to it. A blond minnow is lighter and smaller so the fishi can inhale it better. It is usually 1 to 1.5 inches in length. Still others like Roosy Red minnows.
To me a smaller minnow stays alive longer in the minnow bucket and will attract more fish looking for an easy meal. I'll put mine on a #4 light wire hook so it moves more easily. What is your opinion? Does size and color really make that big of a difference?
