I'm sure that most of you guys have lots of questions to ask about how I do this in recipes which I don't keep and tricks of the trade and making plastic Baits we've been making them now for 20 years so if you have any questions you would like to ask I'll be more than willing to help you out where to go where to buy molds and plastics and most of your supplies how to do Core shot jelly in a clear bait .

Thank you for the offer. I'll ask the first question, although I don't know if it's in the range that you offered.
If you were to attach eyes to the lures that you made, what supplier would you use?
Is one style better than another?
How would you fasten them on?

On plastic baits we use flat peel off eyes and put them directly onto the plastic bait. After that we put the whole plastic bait in clear plastic to hold them on. On the jig heads, they do the same process but you may want to clear vinyl or some other component to hold him on some guys use super glue.. also, they use clear fingernail polish.Quote:

Besides the Mold, About how much cash do you need to invest to make a multi-color panfish bait and what would a person need??
You’re gonna need a mold. Also, you need a syringe or a injector when you need a plastic either a gallon or 5 gallons then you need the colors just to get started around 2 to 300 bucks or more depending on how much you want to spend on a Mold 20 cavities are running over 100 bucks now depending on the injectors that you get they are about 85 or so. A gallon of plastic is about 40 bucks the colors depending on how many ounces you’re by about eight dollars or 4 ounces.Quote:

Why did my hot plastic in the pyrex cup explode when it was accidentally set on a fish hook? I still have nightmares of when that happened to me. Loretta told me then to sell my microwave and stop making lures. Besides I had enough to last a while. I gave away three molds and my microwave. I kept a few.

how about one color baits?
I might get sold it like to be that you have either water or some other foreign matter in the Pyrex cup when you put it in the microwave did you put a Jig hook in the plastic when you put it in the microwave if you did that’s why do you exploded do not put any metal in the microwave. Sometimes are glitter will burn up in the bottom of the Pyrex cup. I have burnt holes right through the glass that’s why I don’t like to use a lot of silver glitter if you do heated up real slowly and stir. Usually I throw it out in the garbage when I get through , with any of the silver glitter in it do not put hot Pyrex cups on a cold surface especially metal always put it on a wooden table top or something like in the plastic form. I’ve been vert many times by my own stupidity, but I’ve been really fortunate about not having stuff explode in the microwave. I’ve had a few Pyrex cups break or split , one thing you want to make darn sure that you do not have any water around your plastic. It could be real dangerous.Quote:

Bait plastic we use the medium that they offer. They have quite a bit of different stuff on there. Also is your colors a few molds in this and that glitter make a 30 some dollars a gallon oh bye-bye 5 gallon for 140 or so.Quote:

How often should you stir or shake you supply of plastic in storage? I noticed my dead on is separating. Clear on top and white on the bottom. I know I need to get my butt in gear and use it up. Thanks
The only time did I screw it when it separate in the gallon jug is when I use it. I got a stirring rod like you use for paint, but it’s smaller to put inside the jugs and use your cordless drill to stir it up when I get ready for it, do not worry about the plastic getting too old just because it’s separating does it mean there’s no good or you have to constantly stir it you don’t have to, call me when you get ready to use itQuote:
