A little of both , shoulder surgery went well ....
says I got a 98% chance of full recovery ....
pretty good odds ....:highfive
wife says I can't ketch any big fish ....
said no worries I specialize in the lilz ....:Rofl
told me I got to cut the line if I hook a nice one too ....:yikes
doc says can't put strain on it for 10 days ,nonono
likely gunna test said rules soon ....
24 hours or so seems about right if I can take the pain .....
practicing on some lilz fisheez soon is me ....just saying ....:Rofl
i know a spot full of em ....rotfl

Let it heal friend. From wifeys experience Re injury and follow up surgeries are worse….heal well.

I vote for let it heal also. Plenty of time to hammer them after you get healed up

Ketchn, take a little time off now to enjoy a whole lot more later. Slinging and flinging is the last thing you want to do. Needless to say, leave the shotgun in the rack!:Rofl Take care of yourself.

been so much fun so far ,I am thinking about doing the other shoulder just for grins too .....:Rofl

Been through a few shoulder surgeries and not fun. Be patient, you'll get there. I got out earlier than I was supposed to but cast and set hook with the uninjured shoulder, little awkward but got my fishing fix.

I don't know, KABOOM seems like good rehab is my thinking.... :biggrin

Good luck with your recovery. I had my left one done in 2011. They had me in PT less than 12 hours later, I was still bleeding. The PT was the most painful thing I've ever been through, for the first four or five days I ate pain pills like they were lifesavers. LOL

I am days behind on some things here but I do hope things are healing well. I had a couple surgeries myself this year and waiting the required time is a smart thing to do. Mostly for the peace of mind of no “I told ya so’s”. Good healing my friend and just have wife set a pail of water in front of the rocking chair. Knowing you it will still be a kaboom [emoji95] ?[emoji225]

My wife made me not take my rifle this weekend and I only had my handgun, man was it tough shooting a coon out of a tree with that little pocket gun ….:Rofl

Time to try some real old school fishing. Cane pole fishing using your good arm only. No casting and if you get hung up, you can't use your bad arm to pull out! Great way to get your fix and try a challenge that may be a true test of your Kaboom skills! Good luck with the healing and take it easy man.

I never quit ketchn fish , i went the day after the surgery and have been going daily ever since , stitches are still in and it itches a bit but the pain is totally gone a week later and thursday out comes said crochet work ....:highfive
the immense casting we did the other day on my buds private ponds and herd of fish we managed did cause a bit of pain though ....

He makes a lot of sense Bud, heal up on them meat loaded Tacos, that will put some protein in the gut for your body to metabolize into muscle. I hope all goes well my friend!
