Yeah boy! Liking that!
What kind of mold is that? Look good.
Hey Vern send the idea for that head in a smaller size to Rick at jacobs baits - now that he's doing lead molds he may be able to do it. I'm hoping he'll come out with the mini football and the walleye no collar soon.
Hey Pepop did I get included in the group buy? If so how do I get the 1 lb. of 200% clear I wanted. Thanks.
Got a reply back from Rick,
"Hi Vernon,The detail in those Ultra minnow jigs is just to time consuming for me to make.
I appreciate your idea though."
The ultra minnow head in 1/8, to me, is as small as it needs to be for sac fishing vertically. In smaller sizes it really serves no other long pole style, other than surface area to paint on.
That was actually my reason for wanting a 3/32oz & a 1/16 oz in the Ultra Minnow. I LOVE painting the 1/8oz & 1/4oz because you can get real creative. Figured I could come up with some cool combo's on the smaller heads. As it is now, I have walleye, chub's & tear drop's in the smaller sizes that offer a bit more surface for adding detail with powder paint.
The only reason I have not picked up that Ultra minnow is because the smallest that it comes in is 1/8. I still may grab it though, for my bass and saltwater folks.
