Anyone tried the 2 1/2 in. crappie tubes from Chapman Creek Tackle? I know they eat bigger minnows than that. I use midsouth super jigs (1 3/4 in) They work great, but being a fisherman always need to try something different.

Wally Marshall makes some studs. Mid-South are the BOMB. I also like http://www.baileymagnet.com/lures.html
The mid-south ya'll are talking about. Is that the one in Jonesboro Ark?
Midsouth is Jonesboro. I like hollow tubes Sac because I use the Bait Pump.
You can still add scent to the solid bodies. i do it all the time.
i would not be afraid to try the 2.5" tubes. I have been useing medium shiner minnows and tuffys the last several times that i have went to lake Wilson and the shiners are doing much better. Most of them are 2.5" or bigger.
Be nice if they would put the price of thier product on the website. Might help them sell a few more.

sorry for getting off topic but WOW every summer i go to the very small town in chapman (2 day drive) to see my grandma and fish milford lake. i love that shop, the guy is very nice and helpful. every year i get excited when I first enter the chapman area.... that shop is the first thing you see besides a few gas stations (and there isnt much else there period lol).
i might try the 2.5"s this year during the spring here in NC.
