MICHIGAN 2021 CRAPPIE CAMP

John and I have decided to go ahead and announce that despite any more shut downs and cancellations we will go ahead and start making plans for this years crappie camp.

I will call up to the campground and let them know of our event and then let everyone know when they can start reserving sites.

At this point we are going to stay with everything we had going on for last years covid cancelled event. One concern is T shirts, we spent money for last years screen process and had shirts made for last year and not sure that is a cost we can or should absorb for this years event. Open to suggestions.

June 11-13

We are going with the dates of Friday June 11-Sunday June 13

Daughters getting married that weekend so I'm out. Have fun and catch lots of fish.

I've got my reservation! I'm in site# 59 The rental trailer. Just gotta figure out where to keep my boat.

hoping for both daughters and two grandkids oh and Wanda of course

As for the 2020 tee shirts how about just having a screenprinter overwrite 2020 with Coved19 and insert 2021 somehow that gets attention recycling them sort of.
Just a thought!

This sounds like fun! I've fished Houghton a few times in years past, but mostly in unsuccessful walleye trolling attempts. I do know that it doesn't take much wind to make Houghton to rough to be out safely in my 14'.
I'll call for a reservation and hope someone at camp is willing to offer crappie advice for Houghton.

Reservation made for 11th & 12th. I'll be at Site 46 tent camping. Looking forward to it!

Is this a tournament?

There is a friendly tournament held on Saturday. Prizes for different species. Steelguy and Just Steve are hosting this year and are setting the rules.

Very cool, I don't live too far way, will sleep in my own bed lol, but would love to come meet some new folks and do a little fishing!

John and I will be putting up a post soon about this years event but it’s pretty much the exact format we had in place for last years event that couldn’t happen.

I had hoped to make it to this event but had to cancel my campground reservations. My daughter and granddaughter will be coming to visit from out of state. Good luck and hoping all a safe, fun time.

they always have a good time!

My granddaughter isn't quite two years old. My daughter already said "nope". There will be others.

We got signed up for site 26. This will be our first event and we are looking forward to it!!

hoping i can get her help with tickets again!!

I think my parents will be there. Considering they pretty much live there throughout the summer. I'm not really sure what my plans are at the moment.

Hate to miss this, but it has been a heck of a time down here for a year. Finally starting to get back to normal. I hear you may have a couple special guests. But I have to be in Albuquerque when y'all are having the camp. Really my favorite group to C.c with. I'll make sure to wear my overalls that weekend. Have a blast and post a lot. "D"
