It would have to be a weekday as I have college football on saturdays. One of my grandsons is playing at Pittsburgh this season and I have season tickets. Keith has church on sundays so that might be a road block there too. I’m in. Pick a day and do it.
Just thought it would be a good thing. To see how many guys would like to have one ? But thinking about this covid 19 thing , probably a bad idea now, maybe next spring!

Agree, wait till next year. Then see if things are better.
Chaunc, have fun watching your grandson play.
Zimmy, I’m not positive about this but I think we were one of the first groups to have a fish together with crappie.com members. Had to be early 2000’s. Do you remember the years we got together? Was it two or three times?
Chaunc I believe we had them for two years 2004 and 2005 twice at Shenango and ever else only once crooked creek, yellow creek and lake Arthur , Pymatuning also. We would get 15-25 guys I thought?

Would suggest we do it in the spring, instead of fall.
Keith , Sure I guess , seems like we get a lot of views but no comments. I am in, at ever you and Chaunc think about a together. [emoji476][emoji476][emoji476][emoji476]

I remember a few at Shenango, 1 at Wilhelm, Lake Arthur, Crooked Creek, and Pymatuning. Still have some pictures, but not sure where to find some of them right now. Have one somewhere with the KCA group holding the banner at Arthur I believe.

Thanks for the memories Zeke . Good times gone by. When it’s safer out, let’s make some new ones. I remember we took first place in the kca tournament at Wilhelm. We still have bragging rights for that. That’s the last time I fished that lake too.
This sounds like a lot of fun.
Being one of the newer members this seems like a great chance for fellowship and a chance to meet some of the other members.
Do you typically have a meal where everyone brings something to share and follow with a friendly fishing competition?
My dad and I enjoyed one of these with the crappie guys in June around 10-12 years ago at that picnic shelter by Shenango Rec area. Chaunc did a great electric knife fillet demo. The shallow bite was still on as May and early June were cool that year. We all fished our own areas until lunch time, came in for grub at a set time, shared stories, then some of us went back out in the afternoon and fished successful areas in small groups. I think we brought our own main meal items & drinks and shared side dishes and snacks. I remember making deer burgers on the grill and sharing smoked trout spread and crackers. My dad can’t be with us any longer due to COVID last November, but he would be there in spirit and Captain Joe and I would be game to be on hand. We mostly come on weekdays in late April and May to avoid the weekend crowds, but flexibility is part of our game when food and fun is on the agenda. My only conflict potential is an annual 5 day trek to Myrtle Beach in mid May for golf with retiree buddies.
I remember the one time in March or April we had a get together on Shenango fishing in a snow storm, had about 1” in boat then had the get together and everyone huddled around the fire [emoji91]

Yep, we had a pretty good day on Wilhelm. But then, I don't think we ever had a bad day fishing together. I wouldn't mind getting together again and I don't think it has to be next spring. I have had some pretty good days when the fall bite is on. I guess it depends on what Covid does though.
Chaunc, Kermit and I met you the first time, fishing the point off of 846 parking lot. Remembering you feeling our lines to see, what pound it was. Don't know if you caught any that day, but we both skunked. That's the same place, you brought me the manual for the motor.
I have pics somewhere of our get together at shenango in 2006...my blue boat carpet was white from the snow. LOL
