They definitely can’t get it right !
Said 3-5 mph Thursday a week ago! 2’+ swells headed out at daylight! Made for a early wet ride and it 40° lol
I had a miserable day on Grenada lake. I'd been watching NOAA closely. I got to the south grayport at 7:00. It was packed. It was cold and the wind was blowing about 15 mph I have a 17' Tracker. I tried like everyone else. To get behind some cover but there was no fish there. I have a 12 volt 55# Terrova. It was not meant for fighting the wind on big lakes. If you've ever used a 24v or 36v trolling you know what I mean. When I had a 24v. I said I'd never go back to 12v. Wish I hadn't. At 11am I called it quits. A lot others did to. I talked to several fishermen. They all said the same thing. NOTHING! I decided to go to Mossy Lake where I had been catching big slabs. I was late getting there. I was mesmerized by big channel cat. It's a wander I didn't break break my new Crappie Maxx Pro Signature Series Crappie pole. I was hoping to break it in today. But couldn't get a crappie to bite. The next few days don't look good at all weather wise.

I've started relying on weather forecast from TN and MO seeing that's the only people I see at the ramp now at Sardis... figure must be to bad to fish up there. [emoji848]

Direction and wind speed can differ a lot while on the water. A 5 mph wind from 1 direction can be a light ripple where from another direction it has white caps.
Just remember being a weather forecaster is the only job where you can be wrong 90 percent of the time and still have a job. :dono
The lakes didn't get much of the overnight rain. I recorded the MVK on my calendar at 6 pm. This morning at 8 am Sardis is up .14", Enid .20" and Nader 0.0. Now to watch what runoff they get, plus the rain for tonight.
