I was curious about your preference for outboard fuel. Do you buy "top tier" quality or price driven? I usually, but not always, prefer top tier to get the extra additives.

I run 87 octane (E10) in my 1999 90HP Merc (& in my 2010 Tundra 4x4 Flex Fuel truck) ... and I buy Shell gasoline whenever I can. Reason being that I seem to get better milage/performance from Shell vs most of the other brands. BP gas is my second choice when Shell isn't available when needed.
I have run pure gas (E0) in my Merc a couple of times, but didn't see any major improvement. But, then again, I wasn't really monitoring it vs E10 performance at those times.
I started using Shell because I could get 10cents/gal off with my Kroger card. But recently the nearest Shell station to my home is now a Casey's  and since I'm driving a different truck than the one I kept mi/gal check on and haven't driven it/filled it up enough (yet), I'm not sure if the Casey's gas will prove to be equal to my results with Shell (for the truck). I'll still stop at a Shell station when going to local lakes for boat fillups.
Top tier fuel for the truck and ethanol-free for the boat when I can.
I run 87 octane (E10) in my 2020 F150 and 2002 90HP & 2002 6HP Yamahas. For the Yamaha I put the marine sta-bil in for ethanol treatment and fuel stabilizer. I’ll get the ethanol free if reasonable priced. I have been using upside to save on fuel prices and it’s nice! 13¢ off per gallon normally

There is a web site Pure-gas.org - ethanol-free gasoline in the U.S. and Canada which lists gas stations with ethanol free gas by state. A great App to have.

In the App. click your state, then scroll to your town or closest one to you listed. It lists Town, Brand, octane, store/station name, their address, phone number, and date it was last updated. There is also a tab to add any stations you might know of that has ethanol free gas.
I run 0 E in the boat because I don’t get to run it like I would love to. I keep the tank full all winter in the boat barn but this year I’ll run er darn near empty to facilitate filling it up before next winter. I also run 0 E in all the mowers and outdoor power equipment. JM2C
I'm not picky. Whatever is convenient.
If something won't run on gas that can be found easily around here, I don't want it.
Yeah, I just run 87, E10. I run Fuel Stabil in all my small motors. Hate having to pay more money for them to take something out of the fuel.
