Needed to re-energize
Pretty good storm rolled thru mid-Michigan on Thursday evening with 100+ mph winds knocking down trees and cutting our power.* Although the power company folks have been working round the clock to catch up we are still without power.* Well after cleaning up my yard and my son's the last couple days, I was looking for a break and wanted to get out on the water and bend a rod.* Gave Sparty a shout.* He had been clearing debris and trees from his yard, neighbors and family members since the night of the storm so he was ready too.* Hit a local lake for a few hours this morning. The fishing wasn't electric [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] but kept us busy.* Caught a variety of fish in the few hours we were out.* Felt good to get on the water, catch a few and re-energize....only took a couple of pics to share.

Hate to bad storms but glad things weren’t any worse for you. Some nice quality catches. Good job.

Glad to hear you're all safe through the storms, hopefully you get electricity restored soon. Fortunate at my place, the storm damage & outages were all south.
After running dogs the last two mornings I hit a local lake this afternoon/evening with low expectations which turned out to be spot on.
Stay safe clearing storm debris!

4 days with no power- this is getting old. Friday I cleaned debris all day at the neighbors and had to take a bird bath in a bucket of rain water. Saturday we took a big basswood off my moms roof and cleaned up her 5 acres and I managed to find a shower to use. Today I helped my niece and her husband with their mess, 11 big fence row oaks down in their back yard. Tomorrow I start on my mess which is nothing compared to what I've been helping with. Thanks for the invite Jeff, it was good to relax for a few hours.

Wow. Sounds like our hurricanes. Be careful. Would be impossible to work that hard in this miserable heat down here. Good luck guys.

Power came on last night so we are in much better shape! Just finished doing the pm on my generator so it's ready to go next time. Now I'm thinking of my friends down in Florida going to get hit with a hurricane... Hoping it's not as bad as last year's..[emoji1696][emoji1696][emoji1696]
