A few
If I had taken the phone apps advice today I would have done most anything else. I’ve got a few days off and wanted to enjoy some mid week bliss so I was on the water by 7. Didn’t plan on a long stay and while it wasn’t stellar I had a good time. The app said the activity level was 20/100 and that I was at the bottom of the curve after a major feed. Basically, I was in the basement. And it showed. My first stop was much slower than normal but I did put two good ones in the cooler. Fish for dinner tonight. I wound up visiting 5 or 6 of my usual spots and 3 turned up nothing. Not nothing kept, nothing caught, so I knew things were off. My bluegill hole gave me no love at all, and that hurt. I still caught over twenty fish and could have brought home 8 and a couple of good gills but 3 crappie was all that made the cut. I left smiling and ahead of the building wind and rain that also brought quarter sized hail with it. I’d been home for hours before that came around. Here’s a few pics that I pretty much forgot about til later. Hope y’all get out and holler if you see me. Til then…….Skeet

I used the big guns some(4lb) but mostly the new 6’ Fenwick build. The nylon mono is working pretty good for me.
